Years ago, with a film director, I started the production of a short thriller film called George.
The short film was selected, nominated, and awarded at over 30 festivals (such as Cannes, Sundance, ..), and was later chosen by Canal+ for a new series projects.
The pitch « A mysterious man shows up and asks for someone named George - but who is George? »
The pitch
What would you do if a couple rang your doorbell and announced the arrival of George ?
Who is George what's more, who is this mysterious couple ?
This is what will happen to the unsuspecting Marion who, by opening her door, falls into a trap.
Originally, George was a pilot for a theme-oriented series like Black Mirror or Cryptshow
- with a different theme - a fantastic / thriller.
In 2016, the project was chosen by Canal+
and they released a public statement about it
during the MipCom 2016.
Unfortunately, after a change in management at Canal+, all projects for shorts and new series were frozen.

Post-Production
To ensure a top-quality and high-standard post-production, the postproduction was done at the
Eclair Laboratories
and
VegaProdnote,
two post-production companies that have worked on several major films over the decades,
many of which have been nominated and awarded at several prestigious film festivals (such as Cannes, Berlinale, Mostra, Sundance, TIFF, ...)
It was important to us to have good professional partners for this project.
The film was shot in 5k with a professional digital cinema camera, the RED Camera, and Angenieux Lens.
The postproduction was done in 4K, and the sound mixing was completed in Dolby Digital.
The projection format is a 4K Digital Cinema Package (DCP).
Finally, the film has been accredited by the CNC
(visa) under the number 143436.
With this accreditation, the film is cleared for theatrical release in France.
